Our Say: AACC survey shows support for Pittman’s actions on virus. He should be wary of too much confidence.

County Executive Steuart Pittman had reason to be heartened Friday about the public support for his strategy for reopening the economy. In a survey of 448 county residents conducted by Anne Arundel Community College, 56% of respondents said the pace of reopening after coronavirus related shutdowns is about right. Another 14% said the county was moving too fast, and 28% said it was too slow. The poll found 51% approved of the job Pittman is doing. The AACC survey is the only one of its kind in the county and is an important bellwether. (Cap Gazette)
