Center Maryland continues its interviews with some of the finalists for Corridor Person of the Year. Today, we feature Dr. Ellen Yankellow, President and CEO of Correct RX Pharmacy Services.

Dr. Yankellow founded Correct Rx Pharmacy in 2003. The company provides services to 180,000 people in about 200 facilities, with a niche on pharmacy services in correctional centers. Correct Rx is one of the Baltimore area’s largest female-owned businesses, and Dr. Yankellow has concentrated on helping mentor women to advance in the industry. Dr. Yankellow is the first woman to serve as chairman of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy’s Board of Visitors, and she was also the first woman to serve as president of the Baltimore Pharmacist Association.

In this interview, Dr. Yankellow discusses her company's successful effort to win the pharmaceutical drug contract for Maryland's correctional system, and what that meant to the growth of Correct Rx.

Come join Center Maryland and Corridor Inc. for the Person of the Year reception on Thursday, March 31, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the BWI Airport Marriott. For more information, or to purchase tickets, click here.
