PressBox, Corridor Inc. and Center Maryland are pleased to announce that the Greater Baltimore Committee has joined their strategic alliance, creating a cooperative effort to link thousands of daily online readers and providing educational opportunities for business leaders across the state.

The GBC – one of the state’s most respected advocates for business interests and the future of the region – will immediately join in co-sponsoring and promoting the Sept. 22 morning conference, Maryland’s Cyber Battleground: APG to Fort Meade, featuring keynote speaker Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger, at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve. The GBC’s decision to join the strategic alliance simply formalizes the organization’s long relationships with different members of the cooperative arrangement. For example, Donald C. Fry, the GBC’s CEO and President, has been writing a weekly column for Center Maryland since the non-profit organization began publishing in January 2010.

The alliance will sponsor a series of conferences featuring thought-leaders on topics of significant interest to Marylanders. The news organizations also expect to eventually distribute a comprehensive daily email of Maryland’s latest political, government, business and sports news to more than 35,000 of the state’s most influential business, government, political, academic, health, military, marketing, retail and technology leaders soon.

PressBox, Corridor Inc. and Center Maryland wish to extend the media partnership opportunity to other Maryland online news, sports, entertainment and information organizations, opening up the possibility of providing the region with an expanded daily digital news service.
