Cricket Goodall, Executive Director of the Maryland Horsebreeders Association, visits Center Maryland to preview this Saturday's 30th Jim McKay Maryland Million race at Laurel Park. It is truly a Maryland race, for all horses that participate were bred in the Old Line state. As a lower key event than that of the Preakness, it provides people an intimate but fun day to learn more about the state's horse tradition. In addition to the stakes itself, there are family activities, educational demonstrations, and musical acts. The event is open to the public and general admission is FREE.
