Maryland lags in clean energy development. There are no wind energy projects operating in our state. And constant changes – or threatened changes – in Maryland’s regulatory environment create instability that helps drive away private investment across the energy sector. Maryland has an opportunity to become THE leading state in the rebirth of the nuclear industry. We have an historic opportunity to leverage federal investment in a smart grid. We need a rational energy climate to succeed.
